بُونْغُو تَسْعَدُ دَائِمًا عِنْدَمَا تُشْرِقُ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى الْغَابَةِ؛ إِذْ تَشْعُرُ الْقُرُودُ بِالْأَمَانِ فِي وَقْتِ النَّهَارِ. أَمَّا بُولُو فَيَسْعَدُ عِنْدَمَا تَغْرُبُ الشَّمْسُ؛ إِذْ تَشْعُرُ الْخَفَافِيشُ بِالْأَمَانِ فِي اللَّيْلِ. عِنْدَمَا يَجْتَمِعَانِ، يَرَى كُلٌّ مِنْهُمَا الْعَالَمَ بِعَيْنَيِ الْآخَرِ. فَهَلْ هُنَاكَ مَكَانٌ يَسْتَطِيعُ فِيهِ هَذَانِ الْمَخْلُوقَانِ أَنْ يَكُونَا صَدِيقَيْنِ؟
